The Cottage    

Jim's Place is on the Atlantic side of the island at the end of a one-lane paved road. (All the island roads are one lane, making courtesy and good humor a way of life.) Jim's original stone cottage has been completely restored, with a comfortable living room and modern kitchen. Two skylights bring in the morning sun, and the glass front door brings you views of the bay. On a sunny day, you can take your tea on the patio.  Two bedrooms and a toilet/shower have been added without diminishing the dignity of the older structure with its massive stone walls.

Sleeping Accommodations

The cottage has two single beds in the small bedroom, a double bed in the large bedroom, and a futon in the living room. The large bedroom opens out onto a patio with a view of bay. (Linens, towels, and blankets are provided.)

Fully Equipped Kitchen

Refrigerator; freezer; electric stove; microwave; clothes washer (but no dryer).
